INFORMATIK 2019 23.-26.09.2019 KASSEL
The 49th GI Annual Conference INFORMATIK 2019 brings together computer scientists from academia, research institutes and industry to discuss current developments, make new contacts and plan joint activities.
On the occasion of the 50th birthday of the Gesellschaft für Informatik, the conference motto is:
50 years Gesellschaft für Informatik – Informatik für Gesellschaft
The conference will focus on the scientific exchange on topics that are currently receiving particular attention in science, practice and society.
Four keynotes represent the highlights of the conference program. They are organized together with the collocated conferences.
Seven Tracks are the core of the scientific program:
Socio-technical Design and Value Orientation,
Internet of Everything,
Informatics and Law,
Security, reliability, correctness,
Digitization of the energy system,

The Industry Dialogue presents and discusses current trends from the perspective of computer science companies. An exhibition completes this part of the conference program.
In addition, a networking lunch will be arranged where students, practitioners and academics have the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
The festive ceremonies consisting of speeches, reception and banquet underline the 50th anniversary of the Gesellschaft für Informatik.
